About

mandy Hi, friend!

I am currently in Life Coach Training through the Martha Beck Institute. Through life coaching, I help people discover a more joyful life through heart + soul + action.

I’ve been called a Wounded Healer — someone who has faced great suffering and as a result is able to inspire and heal others. This is because I faced a major loss early in life. When I was 7 years old, my mom died unexpectedly of a brain aneurysm. That experience helped shape who I am and what I believe.

My husband Bob, beautiful mutt Keira, and I live in downtown Omaha, Nebraska.  When I’m not working, I like to walk among trees, savor my early mornings, and crochet. I’m also writing my first book, a memoir about my own healing.

I have worked in the software industry for more than a decade. I graduated from the Raikes School at UNL and earned my MBA from Olin Business School in Washington University. I started my career as a software engineer at Boeing (where I was the only one not giddy about F/A-18s). I am currently Head of Employee Experience at the phenomenal software startup Flywheel, where I spend my days with delightfully kind and creative people!
